Trump 'carryovers' in Justice Division trigger for concern, prime Home Democrat says

Home Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) shared issues about "carryovers" from the Trump administration within the Justice Division.

The congressman talked about what he's listening to from voters in a number of states throughout a CNN interview Monday that turned as to whether former President Donald Trump will probably be prosecuted.

"I am not going to zero in on the prosecution of Donald Trump. I do have some issues about what appears to be some reticence coming from the division as to how one can ratchet up these investigations," Clyburn advised anchor John Berman.

The Democrat was referring to nervousness about whether or not the Justice Division, beneath Lawyer Normal Merrick Garland, will pursue fees in opposition to Trump in connection to the Capitol riot and efforts to overturn the 2020 election outcomes. The Justice Division is already within the midst of tons of of prosecutions of the rioters themselves.

Clyburn didn't point out any particular officers throughout the Justice Division.
