Rotterdam bridge cancels plan to make room for Bezos superyacht [ad_1]


A bridge in Rotterdam, Netherlands, won't be dismantled to make room for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos's superyacht.

The 417-foot yacht is being constructed by Dutch agency Oceanco and will not match beneath the bridge, nicknamed "De Hef," or "the elevate," except the center half is dismantled. Bezos dedicated to paying the fee to dismantle and reassemble the bridge to permit his $50 million yacht.

A neighborhood information outlet found the bridge plans had been deserted by submitting a freedom of data request in accordance with Dutch legislation. In response, Oceanco "knowledgeable the municipality that it's canceling its present logistical plans."

BIDEN HAS UNLIKELY AND ESCALATING BEZOS BEEF

Over 76,000 signed a Change.org petition to cease the dismantling of the 144-year-old bridge, which was just lately renovated in 2017. It has been a historic web site since World Battle II, when it was bombed.

Bezos didn't reply to the Washington Examiner's request for remark.
