Russia has stopped collaborating in agreements with the Council of Europe – Muricas News

Russia stops its participation in partial and prolonged agreements of the Council of Europe. The decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The day after the assault on Ukraine, on February 25, the Council of Europe adopted a “discriminatory resolution to freeze” the presence of Russia within the statutory constructions of the group. On March 15, Russia left the Council of Europe.

The Council of Europe is the oldest intergovernmental group of the Previous Continent, it was established in 1949.

The principle aim of the construction is the cooperation of European international locations within the discipline of human rights safety. Russia joined the Council of Europe in 1996.
