'Thor: Love and Thunder' director forgot Natalie Portman's 'Star Wars' function

The “Thor: Love and Thunder” director instructed Rolling Stone he forgot about his movie’s star, Natalie Portman, being a part of the “Star Wars” franchise.

In response to Waititi, his preliminary dialog with Portman went like this:

“Natalie stated to me, what do you do subsequent? And I stated ‘I’m making an attempt to work on a Star Wars factor. Have you ever ever wished to be in a Star Wars film?,’” he recalled. “She stated, ‘I’ve been in Star Wars motion pictures.’ I forgot about these ones.”

The director then laughed about it, in response to the publication.

For the file, Portman starred as Padmé Amidala within the prequel trilogy to “Star Wars.”

She reprises her function as Jane Foster within the “Thor” sequel.
