The mayor of a small city married an alligator in a conventional ceremony, as residents danced and implored him to kiss his bride.

Mayor Victor Hugo Sosa of San Pedro Huamelula, a small city in Mexico, kissed the alligator on the snout, which was tied closed, a number of occasions, in accordance to a report.
