Former White Home Communications Director Alyssa Farah Griffin warned that the FBI's raid of Mar-a-Lago may "tear the nation aside" if it was not carried out for a "credible cause."

The Trump staffer-turned-critic mentioned on CNN Tonight on Monday night that she worries for the steadiness of the nation within the aftermath of the FBI raid on former President Donald Trump's Florida resort.

"I hope that DOJ went about this meticulously and that there's a 'there' there as a result of if not, it should tear the nation aside. You [are] already seeing it, the rhetoric already that is popping out from my fellow Republicans, and I am actually hoping that this was carried out for a reputable cause and that it goes someplace," Griffin mentioned.

Griffin additionally mentioned she believes somebody near the previous president is cooperating with the FBI and tipped the legislation enforcement company off to the placement of delicate paperwork.
