China on Thursday stated it wants extra time to “assess” the India-US proposal to checklist Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Abdul Rauf Azhar as a worldwide terrorist on the UN Safety Council, hours after blocking the joint effort.
