Columbus City Colleges and the Columbus Schooling Affiliation academics union introduced Thursday that they've reached a "conceptual settlement," ending the labor dispute between the 2 teams.

The varsity board celebrated the settlement permitting college students to return to in-person studying.
"Tonight, we're completely satisfied to report that we've got reached a conceptual settlement with CEA leaders, and our youngsters will return to in-person instruction on Monday. Whereas the main points can not but be disclosed, the contract acknowledges the Board’s dedication to enhancing our pupil outcomes, the important work of the CEA members, and strengthening our studying environments. We look ahead to welcoming our college students, academics, and employees again to the classroom on Monday," stated Jennifer Adair, board president for Columbus Metropolis Colleges, on Thursday.
The academics union went on strike after rejecting the varsity board's "final, finest, and closing provide" Sunday, citing considerations with instructing and studying situations, together with air con and heating in lecture rooms.
