Lion rips man aside after he tries to steal uncommon white cub at zoo: Police

A man died Sunday when he was ripped aside after climbing inside a lion enclosure in a suspected try to steal a uncommon white cub, authorities stated.

The incident occurred at Ghana’s Accra Zoo round midday, based on a report.

Guards on the zoo seen that a man had climbed a 20-foot-tall fence and entered an enclosure dwelling to a lion, a lioness, and two cubs, the report famous.

"The intruder was attacked and injured by one of many lions," Ghana’s state Forestry Fee stated in an announcement.

The accidents sustained within the assault proved to be deadly.

"The police are working with the administration of the zoo and the forestry fee to resolve this unlucky incident," the Accra Police Service stated.

A motive for the breach has not been decided, however officers suspect the person might need been trying to steal one of many uncommon white cubs.
