The Madrid author Javier Marías suffers from a lung situation from which he's recovering, as reported by his household this Sunday in an announcement launched by the Alfaguara publishing home.

“Given the priority raised by the state of well being of the author Javier Marías, we inform you that he suffers from a lung situation from which he's within the means of recovering,” the household has specified.

Alfaguara, who has revealed his work in its entirety, has wished for a “immediate enchancment” for Marías, creator of a complete of sixteen novels with which he has collected many awards. Amongst these works: ‘El hombre sentimental’, Ennio Flaiano Award; ‘All Souls’, Metropolis of Barcelona Award; ‘Corazón tan blanco’, Critics’ Award, IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, Prix l’Oeil et la Lettre; or ‘Tomorrow within the battle consider me’, Rómulo Gallegos Prize, Prix Femina Étranger, Mondello Prize, and Fastenrath Prize.
