Home GOP pulls advertisements from 'toss-up' race after Majewski controversy: Report [ad_1]


The Nationwide Republican Congressional Committee has reportedly withdrawn advert buys from the Home race in Ohio between Republican J.R. Majewski and Democrat Marcy Kaptur over the previous's current controversies.

The NRCC, which helps with Home GOP campaigns, has canceled $1 million in commercial reservations for the race, per a report from Axios.

Majewski, the Republican candidate for Ohio's ninth Congressional District, has reportedly misrepresented his navy service in marketing campaign commercials and has beforehand promoted QAnon conspiracy theories.

The Washington Examiner has reached out to the Majewski marketing campaign for remark.

Majewski is trying to oust longtime incumbent Democrat Kaptur, who has been in Congress since 1983.

Ohio's ninth District has been rated as "toss-up" by RealClearPolitics.
