Russian overseas minister Sergei Lavrov walked out of a United Nations Safety Council assembly on Ukraine because the US and its allies had been criticizing President Vladimir Putin over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

Sergei Lavrov arrived on the assembly late, Reuters reported, delivered his speech and left as soon as as quickly because it was accomplished because the overseas minister refused to remain.
