Abdel Latif Rashid elected president of Iraq – Muricas News

After a second spherical of voting, Rashid was elected by greater than 160 votes towards incumbent President Barham Saleh, who obtained 99 votes.

In 2003, when Saddam Hussein’s authorities was overthrown, Rashid, an engineer by coaching, entered the federal government. He's a part of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. His time period of workplace has now run for 4 years.
