NFL says recreation officers weren't searching for participant's autograph

The NFL says the 2 recreation officers seen in a video interacting with Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Mike Evans weren't asking for the large receiver’s autograph.

Following the Bucs loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Charlotte, Panthers beat author Sheena Fast filmed the 2 officers within the stadium tunnel showing handy Evans a pen and paper. Evans momentarily stopped and scribbled one thing down.

The NFL issued an announcement on Tuesday clearing the officers of any wrongdoing.
