Satanic Temple provides Idaho to marketing campaign difficult state abortion bans

The Satanic Temple has sued Idaho over its abortion ban, making it the most recent state accused of violating the group's spiritual beliefs and practices.

Named TST within the lawsuit, the group claims that the state's abortion regulation violates the group's Satanic Abortion Ritual. The lawsuit was filed on Sept. 30.

The group claims that, as a faith, its ritual is a protected proper underneath the Spiritual Freedom Restoration Act. Below the act, the federal authorities can't burden the free train of faith with out a compelling purpose and, if obligatory, should accomplish that within the least restrictive means.

TST claims that a few of its Idaho members are compelled to be pregnant, subsequently subjecting ladies to involuntary servitude, per a TST assertion.
