US accuses China, Russia of defending North Korea at UN | World News

The USA accused China and Russia on Wednesday of enabling North Korea by defending it from makes an attempt to strengthen U.N. Safety Council sanctions on Pyongyang over its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile applications.

"The DPRK (North Korea) has loved blanket safety from two members of this council," U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, advised the 15-member Safety Council. "In brief, two everlasting members of the Safety Council have enabled Kim Jong Un."
