WATCH: Youngkin assures voters can 'belief the election' ends in Virginia

With early voting underway in Virginia, Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) needs residents to know that it is as secure as casting a poll on Election Day.

The considerations stem from the 2020 presidential election as some conservatives across the nation proceed to query the validity of its final result and whether or not their votes shall be recorded precisely.

"Virginia's elections are safe," Youngkin advised the Washington Examiner after a rally for congressional candidate Yesli Vega (R-VA) in Dumfries, Virginia. "We handed three payments this 12 months, we removed 'Zuckerbucks,' we replace our voter rolls each week, and we ensure that mail-in ballots get assigned proper again to the precinct. In Virginia, each poll is solid on a paper poll. It's saved. We shouldn't have voting machines. Now we have counting machines. I went and authorized them myself. Voters can belief the election in Virginia."

Youngkin says whereas adjustments have been made to make sure voting integrity, extra must be carried out.

Early voting in Virginia runs via Nov. 5, and Election Day is Nov. 8.
