Jimmy Kimmel to host the 2023 Oscars

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the Academy Awards for a 3rd time, the Academy introduced Monday.

Kimmel beforehand helmed the ceremony in 2017 and 2018.

“Being invited to host the Oscars for a 3rd time is both a terrific honor or a lure,” Kimmel reportedly stated in a press release. “Both approach, I'm grateful to the Academy for asking me so rapidly after everybody good stated no.”
