South American provider Azul Brazilian Airways was one of the best airline in 2022 owing to its on-time efficiency globally, based on a brand new report by aviation analytics agency Cirium, CNN reported. The airline operated almost 280,000 flights final 12 months, the report stated, including that 88.93% of them arrived inside quarter-hour of its scheduled time.

Chile's LATAM Airways confirmed 86.31% punctuality throughout greater than 450,000 flights and took the fourth place within the rating whereas Colombia's Avianca at 83.48% punctuality and almost 145,000 flights was on the sixth place.

For the second 12 months in a row, Delta Airways was given the Cirium Platinum Award for world operational excellence. The airways was fifth on the worldwide rating with 83.63% punctuality of its million-plus flights. United Airways was in eighth place and American Airways was on the tenth place. Six out of the world's prime ten most punctual airports have been within the US.
