McConnell accuses Schumer of hypocrisy over debt ceiling method

Senate Minority Chief Mitch McConnell (R-KY) accused Senate Majority Chief Chuck Schumer (D-NY) of hypocrisy over his method to negotiations involving the debt ceiling.

Schumer urged President Joe Biden to not negotiate with Home Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in regards to the debt ceiling forward of a gathering of the 2 Wednesday, the Hill reported.

McConnell argued that Schumer's stance contradicted his earlier stance in 2017 when the roles had been reversed.
