It's time to take step within the course of Ukraine coming into alliance: Zelensky tells NATO | World News [ad_1]

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged Thursday it was ‘time’ for Kyiv to be invited into NATO.

“Now, when almost all of people in NATO nations and almost all of Ukrainians assist the entry of our nation into the alliance, it’s time to take the acceptable decision,” Zelensky acknowledged at a press conference with visiting NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg.

Zelensky moreover requested Stoltenberg to help Kyiv “overcome the reluctance” of some member states on providing long-range weapons to Kyiv to counter Russia’s invasion.

“I addressed the Secretary Primary with a request to help us overcome the reluctance of our companions in regards to the provide of positive weapons, significantly long-range, trendy aviation, artillery, armoured autos,” Zelensky acknowledged on the press conference.
