At the least 800,000 folks in Myanmar want emergency meals assist and different help after Cyclone Mocha slammed into the conflict-torn nation earlier this week, the United Nations stated Friday.
"The cyclone left a path of devastation throughout Myanmar's Rakhine State, with homes flattened, roads lower off by uprooted bushes, hospitals and faculties destroyed, and telecommunications and energy traces severely disrupted," Anthea Webb, the UN World Meals Programme's deputy regional director for Asia and the Pacific, instructed reporters in Geneva.
“There are at the least 800,000 folks in pressing want of emergency meals help.”
