Twenty-two US service members have been injured in a helicopter “mishap” in northeast Syria, the US Central Command said late on Monday.

Ten service members had been evacuated to elevated care providers exterior the Central Command area of responsibility, it said in a press launch.

The explanation for the incident on Sunday was beneath investigation, although no enemy hearth was reported, said the US Central Command, which oversees US forces inside the Middle East.
