Fmr. TN State Sen. dies days after jet ski incident

Former Tennessee state senator Roy Herron has died days after he was significantly injured in a jet ski incident.
Herron was 69-years-old. Officers confirmed the crash came about on Kentucky Lake, at Panther Bay, on Saturday, July 1.

Herron, of Dresden, served within the state Home and Senate between 1986-2012, and adopted his state-wide place as chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Social gathering.
