George Osborne's wedding ceremony disrupted by Merely Stop Oil protesters. Who're they? | World News

A Merely Stop Oil – a nonviolent civil resistance environmental group – protester on Saturday crashed former chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne’s wedding ceremony to Thea Rodgers and threw orange confetti on them. In a video posted by the group on Twitter, as a result of the newlyweds stepped out from the church after the ceremony, a grey-haired woman carrying white rushed behind the couple and commenced throwing orange confetti on them.
Reportedly, the orange confetti was associated in colour to the orange powder which is usually utilized by Merely Stop Oil group over their heads.
