Russia launches drone assault on Ukraine's Kyiv for 2nd evening in row | World News [ad_1]

Russia launched a wave of drone assaults on Kyiv and its area a second evening in row, with air defence techniques engaged in repelling the strike, a Ukraine navy official stated.

"The air raid alert is on! Air defence techniques engaged within the area on strategy to Kyiv," Serhiy Popko, head of the navy administration for the Ukrainian capital stated on the Telegram messaging app.

The Kyiv navy administration urged on its Telegram channel that folks keep in shelters till the raids are over.

Reuters witnesses in Kyiv heard blasts resembling the sound of air defence techniques intercepting air objects.
