Simply Cease Oil protesters crash George Osborne's wedding ceremony, throws orange confetti | World News [ad_1]An environmental protester belonging to the ‘Simply Cease Oil’ group on Saturday crashed former chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne's wedding ceremony to Thea Rodgers and threw orange confetti on them. In a video posted by the group on their Twitter account, a grey-haired girl wearing white will be seen strolling in the direction of the couple - who had simply stepped out from the church after the ceremony - and started throwing orange confetti on them. The confused couple continued to stroll, as the lady adopted them to empty the confetti from a union jack bag over them, till she was taken away by a safety guard.
“You look good in orange @George_Osborne – congratulations to the newlyweds,” the group - a nonviolent civil resistance group demanding the UK authorities to cease licensing all new oil, fuel and coal tasks - wrote on Twitter.
In the meantime, former house secretary of UK Priti Patel on Sunday known as the act by Simply Cease Oil protester “shameful”. Sharing the video on Twitter, she wrote, “JSO are shameful, consideration looking for, disrespectful low life.”
