Site visitors alongside a Russian-built bridge linking Crimea to Russia's Krasnodar area has been halted following an "emergency", a Moscow-installed official and state media mentioned on Monday.
"Site visitors was stopped on the Crimean bridge: an emergency occurred within the space of the 145th pillar from the Krasnodar Territory," Crimea governor Sergey Aksyonov wrote on Telegram.
"Regulation enforcement companies and all related companies are working... measures are being taken to deal with the scenario," he added.
He didn't present some other particulars.
"Crimean authorities will present all the mandatory assist to vacationers in reference to the stopping of visitors on the Crimean bridge," Russia's TASS information company cited a regional official as saying.
The bridge hyperlinks Russia to Crimea, which Moscow annexed in 2014, and serves as an important hyperlink for transporting provides to Russian troopers in Ukraine.
In October 2022 it was broken by a truck bomb in an assault Moscow blamed on Ukraine.
Kyiv has denied being behind the assault.
