An airport in France's southern Mediterranean coast closed indefinitely on Saturday after a cargo aircraft overshot its runway on touchdown. The aircraft completed nose-down in water of an adjoining lake.

Three individuals aboard the Boeing 737 aircraft had been rescued unhurt, Related Press reported because the airport was closed to passenger and cargo flights till the aircraft may very well be moved, authorities stated.

The cargo aircraft left the runway and ended up with its nostril and no less than one engine dipping into the water. The aircraft had flown south from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to Montpellier within the early hours of Saturday.
